About : Malcolm Lewis aka Styles4099: He is a qualified sound engineer, DJ and Producer. Styles have accumulated almost 10 years experience in the music industry. The Birth of Styles4099: When a Group of DJ’s attended an event one evening to showcase their skills, all had Stage names except one; he used his real name (Malcolm Lewis). After his performance, all the DJ’s who performed, renamed Malcolm. In a musical sense, Malcolm Lewis died that night giving birth to Styles4099. About : Ru de la Vega's journey as a DJ began in 1999, followed by his big break with the BIG BROTHER 2 Eviction Parties. Since then, he has braced many dance floors alongside some of SA DJ like Ricardo Da Costa, Craig De Sousa, Roger D'Lux, Vimo, Guy Herman, Lady Leah, DJ Fresh, Glen Lewis, Vinni Da Vinci, Ryan Dent, DJ Camoflage (Miami), Charl Chakka (Dubai), Afroboogie, DJ Dizzy, but to name a few. When asked about the genre of music he plays, his answer is simply "I play feel good music, evry tune has a place and time. If it's good, it will be played". Ru de la Vega has played at venues such as Barfly, Tempos, ESP, Sublime, Red Cafe, Malabar, Cafe Culture, Just Chill, Truth, Manilar Bar (CT), and the list goes on. He has also featured at events like H2O, Glo-Tech Africa and Earthdance. Ru de la Vega currently holds his residency at Aruba Lounge (JHB) and is known for his Friday closing sets. He is also currently signed to a label "We Scream Records" based in London, having signed his first single "Song For Jane". Ru de la Vega is making his own music, venturing in being a producer and part of the Underground House movement, varying from Deep/Tech House, Funky House and Techno. He is part of a clothing brand called RnR, creating an awareness that music and fashion are a perfect fusion of this generation's current lifestyle!!
